Australian National Race 2023
The ANRPB Board members are keen to promote unity amongst all pigeon flyers, in particular, we are working towards having the States compete in a true Grand National race.
In 2024 we would like all Eastern and Southern States to have a single race point on the same day with staggered releases.
In 2023 we received donations of $2,500 each from Vince Pedavoli’s company Landmark Square Developments and Pat Arcella’s San Remo Lofts.
The ANRPB has in turn sponsored each of the States for the following races:
Western Australia PRF – Nerren Nerren 19/08/23 550km $725
Western Australia WCF – Carbla 05/08/23 650km $275
South Australia – Emmdale 30/09/23 640km $1000
Queensland – Emmdale 30/09/23 966km $1000
New South Wales – Port Welspool 23/09/23 697km $1000
Victoria – Cobar 14/10/23 700km $1000
Each state will organise their own nomination price and allocation of prizes. The release of birds from Emmdale will be staggered based on calculating which state will have the longest flying time, to be released first, then second longest flying time released second, etc.
